Michael Levin is an Associate Professor in the Clinical/Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program at Utah State University. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Nevada, Reno under the mentorship of Dr. Steven C. Hayes and completed his predoctoral internship at the Brown University Clinical Psychology Training Consortium.

Dr. Levin’s research primarily focuses on taking a theory-driven approach to developing web/mobile-based interventions to help address a range of psychological/behavioral problems. This work has mostly been in the area of acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), with problems including depression, anxiety, obesity and addictive behaviors. He has received multiple grants for his research and has published extensively in the area of acceptance and mindfulness-based interventions.

Dr. Levin co-directs the USU ACT Research Group with Dr. Michael Twohig.
