I am excited to be working with Dr. Susan Crowley! My current research investigates the narrative identities and experiences of young missionaries of the LDS church who have returned home early from their missions. I enjoy qualitative approaches to understanding individuals' experiences and investigating how individuals view and experience mental health services. My prior research has examined relational and spiritual approaches to college teaching, and teaching undergraduate students continues to be a passion of mine. I am also very interested in human-animal relationships and enjoy working with my therapy dog, an English Cream Retriever named Sugar. Outside of school and work, I enjoy all kinds of artistic endeavors, being outside, and spending time with my friends, both two-legged and four.
